VIDEO: Paraglider dies after being rescued from ocean off Pacifica


PACIFICA (KRON) — A paraglider died on Saturday morning after being pulled from the ocean simply off of Pacifica, the North County Hearth Authority stated.

Firefighters obtained a name at round 10:37 a.m. to a water rescue on the seashore within the space of the one hundred block of Esplanade Avenue, authorities stated.

A person who had been paragliding was pulled from the ocean to shore by bystanders who started giving him CPR, hearth officers stated.

Hearth crews and paramedics took over to attempt to save the person’s life however he was pronounced lifeless on the scene.

No different info was instantly obtainable concerning the incident, which is beneath investigation by regulation enforcement and the San Mateo County coroner’s workplace, hearth officers stated.
