Household displaced after Camden County home hearth; firefighter harm

GLOUCESTER TWP., N.J. (WPVI) —

A household has been displaced after a home hearth in a single day in Camden County.

The hearth broke out simply after three a.m. Sunday on the one thousand block of Oakwood Avenue within the Blackwood part of Gloucester Township.

Upon arrival, crews discovered the entrance of the residence absolutely engulfed with flames emanating from the entrance and aspect home windows.

Firefighters shortly extinguished the hearth, and the household of 4 was capable of escape with none accidents.

One firefighter was taken to the hospital for warmth exhaustion, however is in good situation.

The reason for the hearth is underneath investigation, however is believed to be nonsuspicious.
